Geyer, Brian

Brian passed away in January 2015.
This page stands as a memory to his skill and workmanship.

 

Brian was in the engineering quality control environment most of his life. Together with Des Horn, he was involved in the designing and manufacturing of the Hawk pistol in 1972.

Brian was always been interested in the outdoors and started making knives in 1975 as a hobby. He joined the South African Police in 1977 as a gunsmith. After attaining the rank of Colonel, he left the Force in 1998 and relocated to the Whale Capital, Hermanus, in Western Cape.

He enjoyed spending time making different models of folding knives.

Brian applied and was accepted as a member of the South African Knifemakers Guild in 2005.
